The light novel few Mai-HiME/Otome fans know about! Have to admit, it almost escaped my radar!
Almost.
'Mai-Otome If' is a two part light novel series like 'Mai-HiME Destiny'. Since I'm unable to read Japanese, I cannot be certain what the story is about. What I'll do is guess, judging from the various illustrations peppered throughout both books. "If" being any indication, it's a glorified "What If" story like the Mai-HiME VS. Mai-Otome OVA from Mai-Otome, where Alyssa Searrs blew up Tomoe, haha!
